This week’s Unknown Artist of the week is no newbie to the world of WJSG Internet Radio. Brad Doggett is actually one of our favorite repeat offenders. Why this kid has not been snatched up is beyond me. We’ve featured covers by Brad a few times on our social media platforms except website (www.wjsgradio.com). So this is way over due.
The internet is crawling with thousands of people doing covers of their favorite songs. But Dogget stands out. Like many, this 23 year old from Washington D.C., covers pop songs from Gaga & Perry to Beyonce & Neyo. But his covers of John Mayer put him in another category all together. As some may know, John Mayer is actually quite a bad-ass on the guitar and Brad shows that he aint no novice either. He also lends his guitar playing skills to other struggling vocalist dropping into the background and giving them the spotlight.
You can download his MP3’s from iTunes. Brad is also on Facebook,SoundCloud, Tumblr, Twitter, Myspace and of course YouTube. He posts a new cover every Tuesday night and accumulating quite a following online.
